The service
FirmChecks summarises information from public sources such as GST records, domain registries and news. Sources can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Results are provided to support your own judgement; they are not a credit rating, legal opinion or guarantee of payment.
Fair use
- Check only businesses you plan to deal with.
- No bulk lookups of individuals, automated scraping, or reselling of results.
- Do not use FirmChecks to harass, defame or discriminate against anyone.
Accounts and plans
Free and paid limits are shown on the plans page. Paid plans run for the period you pay for and are switched on after payment is received. Prices exclude GST.
Full reports
Full reports are prepared from company records and delivered by email within one working day of payment or request.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, FirmChecks is not liable for decisions you make using the service, or for losses arising from errors or gaps in public data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
